Letter of Intent
Deadline: 5 p.m. on September 8, 2010. Online submission only.
The digital LOI form is now available here.
You can also access it by clicking the “Applicant Login” link under “Apply for a Grant” in the right-hand navigation bar.
To begin filling in the form, you must first register to create an account. Instructions are posted on the site.
Please contact Dance Advance at 267-350-4970 with any questions.
In this application cycle, the Letter of Intent to Apply (LOI) has become a pivotal document to be reviewed by a panel of dance specialists. Based on the LOI review, invitations will be extended to successful applicants for submission of a full proposal. This change requires that core content of the proposal be identified securely by the time of submitting the LOI, including collaborators and venue selection (if relevant). This change will require significant development of the core objectives of proposal during July and August, prior to the LOI deadline.
Both the LOI and the application forms will be submitted online.
Other Important Changes
For more information about what’s new this year, please read the 2011 guidelines.
Workshops
Dance Advance held two workshops in July to discuss the Guidelines and the scope of the changes. Attendance was required for anyone intending to apply to Dance Advance for the 2011 funding cycle. If you were unable to attend either workshop and have not yet met with Dance Advance’s Director about your Letter of Intent, please telephone us to schedule an appointment as soon as possible: 267-350-4970.
