Support for restaging dances with new recordings by the orchestra of the Virsky Ukrainian National Dance Company, Kiev, in preparation for national and international tours. Voloshky has emerged as one of the leading dance companies in the Ukrainian diaspora, and maintains close artistic ties with Virsky, the world’s leading Ukrainian folkloric dance company. The grant supports the rescaling of their repertory dances for suitability in smaller venues and new music recordings that are of the highest technical and artistic caliber.
