Raices Culturales Latinoamericanas presented the three-day Latin Roots & Rhythms Festival in May 2011, engaging Philadelphia audiences and guest artists in a series of performances at Philadelphia's Freedom Theater and the Upper Darby Performing Arts Center. Featured over the course of the festival were 14 hours of music and dance performances, food, crafts, and workshops, representing the multicultural spirit of the neighborhoods surrounding the venues. Companies performing at the festival included Flamenco Ole with guest artist Carmela Greco, Pasión y Arte, Raices de Borinquen/Familia Rojas, and the Kùlú Mèlé African Dance and Drum Ensemble, among others.

Dedicated to supporting and promoting Latin American culture, Raices Culturales LatinoAmericanas produces a variety of community programs and cultural showcases, such as the Latin Roots & Rhythms Festival, which was funded by the Center in 2011. The Center supported Feria de Sevilla in 2006, which brought together, for the first time, three of Philadelphia's flamenco companies along with Spanish guest artist Carmella Greco. This was an unprecedented gathering that, for a moment, bridged the esthetic factions of this sector of the dance community.
