It gives us great pleasure to announce that the Pew Fellowships in the Arts will be raised to $75,000 for each Fellow in the 2015 grant cycle, an increase of $15,000 from the current amount.

The Center's Fellowships program, which awards twelve grants annually to regional artists working in all disciplines, is among the most highly regarded of its kind in the country. The fellowships are no-strings-attached grants that afford our region's most talented practitioners valuable time and substantial resources to focus on artistic exploration and professional development. Since 1992, the Fellowships has invested over $15.4 million in support of 299 exceptional artists.

The Pew Fellowships exemplify the Center's commitment to the continued growth and success of Philadelphia area artists, and our deeply held belief in the value of a thriving artists' community within our cultural landscape. It is deeply gratifying to continue direct funding to artists at this substantially enhanced level.
