Jenny Gersten is producing consultant for the Performing Arts Center at the World Trade Center in New York. She has produced several independent, non-traditional performance projects, including a "live cinema" series of workshops written and directed by Francis Ford Coppola. Gersten previously served as executive director of Friends of the High Line, and through the summer of 2014, she was artistic director of the Williamstown Theatre Festival, where she also served as associate producer from 1996 to 2004. Gersten was associate producer of The Public Theater in New York City for four years, and prior to joining the Public, the artistic director of the theater artist collective Naked Angels, and director of marketing and development at The 52nd Street Project. She served as a casting director for Billy Elliot the Musical, as well as for visual artist Gregory Crewdson. In 2015 and 2016, Gersten served as a panelist in Performance.
