John Andress.

John Andress is associate director of performing arts at the Institute of Contemporary Art/Boston, where he has organized performances by artists including Ragnar Kjartansson, Miranda July, Andrea Fraser, Kid Koala, JACK Quartet, Matthew Ritchie, and collaborators Nathalie Djurberg and Hans Berg. Andress co-curated the ICA/Boston's 2015 James and Audrey Foster Prize exhibition, which included a gallery exhibition and 40 live performances. Andress performs regularly as a percussionist with the Callithumpian Consort, working with renowned composers, including Steve Reich, Alvin Lucier, Tristan Murail, Christian Wolff, and Fred Hirsch. In 2016, Andress served as an LOI panelist in Performance.
