Questions of Practice: MoMA's Thomas Lax on Dance in Museums

Questions of Practice: Thomas Lax, Curator

Thomas Lax, the former Studio Museum in Harlem curator who is now curating performance at the Museum of Modern Art, takes up the question “Should we be dancing in museums?” He responds by addressing key points of convergence between contemporary dance and the visual arts, and he reminds us that this isn’t the first time this conversation has been had.
