FringeArts presented the Australian dance company Chunky Move and their production of Mortal Engine during its 2009 festival. Founded by Artistic Director Gideon Obarzanek in 1995, Chunky Move seeks to redefine what is or what can be contemporary dance within Australian culture. The company's Mortal Engine is a dance video and music laser performance that utilizes movement and sound-initiated projections. Mortal Engine was presented at The Wilma Theater.
